ExBlocks Door Locks

ExBlocks Hazardous area door locks are designed for maximum security for use in Zone 1 applications.

ATEX and IECEx Certified components are used with a robust locking mechanism to ensure the reliability of the lock in hazardous areas.

ExBlocks locks are designed to account for the mis-alignment of doors that occurs over time, while the stainless steel locking mechanism is designed with a holding force of 5kN (500kg) for normal operation.

Available in fail-safe and fail-secure configurations, and with multiple mounting options, the ExL2000 is suitable for fitment to all doors in hazardous areas. A door closed sensor is provided for detection of unclosed doors, and to set an alarm in the case of a forced door.
